Have you ever been rejected, only to become the very thing everyone needed?
The moment
Jesus asks the chief priests what the vineyard owner will do to those wicked farmers. They answer, 'He will miserably destroy those miserable men, and lease out the vineyard to other farmers.' Then Jesus quotes the Scripture about the stone the builders rejected becoming the head of the corner.
Where it points
Long ago, God promised Abraham, 'In you all families of the earth will be blessed.' Paul tells us this gospel was preached beforehand, and the seed is Christ. The rejected stone is the promised seed—through Him, all nations are blessed.
For today
Today, when you feel rejected, remember God can make you a cornerstone. Let His promise through Christ shape your identity, and bear fruit for His kingdom.
