What do you do when the one who owes you is right there, and you remember what they did?
The moment
The servant, just forgiven a fortune, goes out and finds a fellow servant who owes him a hundred denarii. He grabs him by the throat and demands, 'Pay me what you owe!'
Matthew 18:28
Where it points
Joseph's brothers meant evil against him, but God meant it for good to save many alive. The cross looked like evil, but God used it for our salvation. If God turned the worst evil into good, can we not trust Him with our hurts?
Genesis 50:20 · Acts 2:23-24 · Romans 8:28
For today
Today, when someone wrongs you, pause. Remember the debt you've been forgiven, and let that mercy loosen your grip on what they owe you.
