The king prepared a lavish feast, sparing no expense, to honor his son's wedding. It was the event of the ages, a celebration of joy and abundance.

Where it points
This feast echoes Isaiah's vision of God's mountain where all peoples enjoy rich food and choice wines. And Paul tells us the gospel was preached beforehand to Abraham: in him all families of the earth would be blessed. That blessing is this feast, and the seed is Christ.
