Why do we murmur when God's generosity doesn't match our ledger?
The moment
The first laborers received their denarius, yet grumbled against the master, saying, 'These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us, who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat.'
Matthew 20:11-12
Where it points
Long ago, God declared, 'Vengeance is mine, and recompense' — He alone repays, and He will vindicate His people. Leave judgment to Him, for His ways are not ours.
Deuteronomy 32:35-36 · Romans 12:19 · Hebrews 10:30
For today
Today, when envy whispers that others got more, release your complaint to God. Trust His justice, and let His mercy quiet your heart.
