When God invites, do we treat it like a nuisance? The king's servants called the guests, but they would not come.

The moment
Again the king sent other servants, saying, 'I have prepared my dinner, my oxen and fat calves are killed, everything is ready. Come to the wedding feast.' But they paid no attention and went off, one to his farm, another to his business.

Where it points
This rejection echoes Abraham's test, where God provided a ram for the sacrifice instead of Isaac. Just as Abraham did not withhold his only son, God gave His only Son, who carried His cross to be the Lamb for us.
