Have you ever poured everything into something, only to have it go wrong?
The moment
In the Gospel, a master plants a vineyard, sets a hedge, digs a wine press, and builds a tower—everything needed for fruit. Then he leases it out and goes away, expecting a harvest.
Matthew 21:33
Where it points
This echoes Isaiah's song of the vineyard, where God did everything for His people. But when He looked for justice, He found bloodshed. Yet God says, 'Vengeance is mine; I will repay'—He remains patient, not rushing to judgment.
Isaiah 5:2 · Isaiah 5:7 · Deuteronomy 32:35
For today
Today, remember that God has equipped you fully. Trust His patience, and don't take vengeance into your own hands—leave room for His timing.
Romans 12:19
