Have you ever been sent with a good message, only to be rejected?
The moment
In the Gospel, the farmers beat one servant, killed another, and stoned a third. When more servants came, they treated them the same way.
Matthew 21:35-36
Where it points
This rejection echoes the very beginning of creation, when God said, 'Let there be light' (Genesis 1:3). But as Paul writes, the same God who commanded light to shine out of darkness has shone in our hearts (2 Corinthians 4:6). Even in rejection, God's light persists.
Genesis 1:3 · 2 Corinthians 4:6
For today
Today, when your good efforts are rejected, remember that God's light still shines through you. Don't let rejection dim your call to bear fruit.
