Introduction and updates
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how [DailyLight, Inc.] and its affiliates ("DailyLight", "we", "us" or "our") process personal information collected through our website at https://dailylight.ai (the "Website"), the DailyLight mobile and web applications (the "App"), and the DailyLight platform that lets creators and professionals deploy AI assistants built on their own content (the "Platform", together the "Services").
Our details:
[DailyLight, Inc.] [Registered address] privacy@dailylight.ai
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a new version on this page and changing the "Last updated" date. If a change is material, we will also notify you by email or through the Services before it takes effect.
What information we collect
"Personal Information" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, or "personal data" or "personally identifiable information" as defined under applicable privacy laws.
Website visitors
- Information you give us voluntarily, such as your name and email address when you contact us, request a demo, or join our mailing list. This may include information shared with us by third parties based on your consent to be contacted for marketing.
- Connection and device information, such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, and log and usage data.
Prospects
We may collect basic business contact details (name, business email, phone number, job title, audience size and similar professionally relevant data) about creators, organizations and professionals who may be interested in the Platform, from publicly available sources (such as social media profiles and professional networking sites), data providers, or business partners.
Creators (Platform customers)
- Account and registration details: name, username, email, phone number, organization, and login credentials.
- Billing and payment information, processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card numbers.
- Creator Content: videos, audio, texts, documents, images, and links you upload or that we ingest automatically from channels you connect, including transcriptions and indexes we create from them to power your AI assistant.
- Configuration data: your assistant's persona, branding, custom domain, templates, and settings.
- Connected-account data: when you connect a third-party account (such as YouTube, Meta or Google Ads), the data that account makes available to us under the permissions you grant.
- Communications with our support team, and log and usage data.
End users (users of the App and creator assistants)
- Account details: name, email, phone number, profile photo, language, and the creators you follow.
- Conversations: the questions, messages, voice and video inputs you send to an AI assistant, and the responses generated.
- Subscription and payment details, processed by our payment providers or app stores.
- Device, log and usage data, including push-notification tokens.
Conversations may reveal sensitive information, such as religious beliefs, health or personal circumstances, especially in faith, wellness or advice-related assistants. Please share only what you are comfortable sharing. We process such information only to provide the conversation you requested, and only on the legal basis that applies to it.
Legal basis for processing
Depending on the context, we process Personal Information on these bases:
- Performance of a contract with you, or steps you asked us to take before entering one;
- Our legitimate interests and those of third parties, for the purposes described below;
- Compliance with our legal obligations;
- Your consent, for marketing communications, non-essential cookies, and any sensitive information you choose to share in conversations where consent is required by law. You may withdraw consent at any time.
How DailyLight uses the information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services, including creating and running each creator's AI assistant;
- To ingest, transcribe and index Creator Content so assistants can answer based on it;
- To generate responses to end users' questions and deliver them through text, voice or video;
- To process subscriptions, payments and creator revenue sharing;
- To provide creators with aggregated and anonymized analytics about how their assistant is used;
- To support creator marketing tools, such as generating creatives and launching campaigns on ad platforms the creator connects;
- To respond to inquiries and provide support;
- To send service notices and, with consent where required, marketing communications;
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and misuse of AI assistants;
- To investigate violations and enforce our Terms and policies, and to comply with law, regulation, subpoenas or lawful government requests;
- To establish, exercise or defend legal claims and protect our intellectual property;
- To improve the performance, safety and quality of the Services, and to develop new products using analytics and research;
- To identify and contact prospective creators and partners. Where required by law, we will seek consent or offer an opportunity to opt out.
AI processing
DailyLight assistants are powered by large language models and related AI services provided by third-party vendors. Your messages and the relevant Creator Content are sent to these vendors only to generate the response you requested. We contract with them so that they may not use this data to train their own general-purpose models.
We do not use end users' conversation content to train AI models that serve other creators. We may review conversations, in limited cases, to investigate abuse, resolve support requests, or improve answer quality, and we may use de-identified, aggregated data for these purposes.
AI-generated responses may be inaccurate. They reflect the creator's content and point of view, are not professional, medical, legal, financial or pastoral advice, and are not reviewed by the creator in real time.
The use of raw and derived information received from Google APIs and YouTube API Services will adhere to the Google User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and to the YouTube API Services Developer Policies.
Creators and end users: who controls what
DailyLight operates one shared App in which end users can follow many creators. DailyLight is responsible for end users' accounts and for operating the Services.
Creators receive aggregated and anonymized usage analytics about their assistant. Creators do not receive end users' individual conversations or contact details unless the end user chooses to share them, for example by subscribing to a creator's mailing list or community. Where a creator collects information directly from its own audience, the creator is responsible for that collection under its own privacy policy and our Data Processing Addendum.
With whom we share the information
We do not sell or rent Personal Information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share Personal Information with:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as cloud hosting, AI model providers, transcription, email, analytics, customer support, and payment processors;
- Creators, as described above;
- Ad platforms a creator connects, limited to what is needed to run that creator's campaigns;
- Our subsidiaries and affiliates;
- Auditors, legal and professional advisers;
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect rights, property or safety;
- Actual or potential purchasers, lenders or investors, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to confidentiality.
Connecting third-party accounts
When a creator connects a third-party account, such as YouTube, to the Platform, the creator may disconnect it at any time from the Platform settings. You may also revoke our access to your Google account at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/connections. To request deletion of data we hold in connection with such an account, contact privacy@dailylight.ai.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies, SDKs and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Services, and measure and improve their performance. With your consent where required, we also use them to measure and improve our marketing.
We use Google Analytics and similar tools to understand how the Website and App are used. These tools collect information such as pages visited and IP address. Their use of this information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
You can manage cookies through our cookie banner or your browser and device settings. More information is available at www.allaboutcookies.org. Disabling some cookies may limit certain features.
How we protect your information
We use commercially reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect Personal Information, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, and logging of access to production data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so please take care in deciding what you share with the Services.
International transfers
DailyLight operates globally, including in Israel and the United States, and uses service providers in other countries. When we transfer Personal Information across borders, we do so in accordance with applicable law, including through Standard Contractual Clauses or other approved safeguards where required.
How long we keep information
We keep Personal Information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and as required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our rights. As a general rule:
- Account information is kept while the account is active and deleted or anonymized within [90] days after closure;
- Conversation history is kept while the end user's account is active, unless the end user deletes it earlier;
- Creator Content is kept while the creator's account is active and deleted within [90] days after the agreement ends, unless the creator asks us to delete it sooner;
- Billing records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting law.
Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets a higher age), and we do not knowingly collect their Personal Information. If you believe a child has provided us Personal Information, contact privacy@dailylight.ai and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, and subject to exemptions provided by law, you may have the right to:
- Access the Personal Information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Delete your information, subject to legal obligations that require us to keep it;
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests, or to direct marketing;
- Restrict our processing;
- Receive your information in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
End users can delete conversations and their account directly in the App settings. To exercise any other right, contact privacy@dailylight.ai. We will verify your identity before responding. If you choose not to allow us to process your Personal Information, we may not be able to provide the Services.
If you have a complaint about how we handle your Personal Information, contact us first at privacy@dailylight.ai. If you are not satisfied, you may file a complaint with your local data protection authority, including the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or an EU or UK supervisory authority.
